Welcome, Isabelle!
Dear Friends & Family,
Because of your support, Special Operations is growing in leaps and bounds. And, there’s never been a more pressing time; with children home schooled during the pandemic and law enforcement underfunded, the exploitation and sex abuse of children have skyrocketed across the country.
We can stop this. Since Special Operations began three years ago, our private investigative team has helped find 40 missing children, most of whom were victims of sex trafficking. We gather evidence that elevates cases within law enforcement agencies from classifying youth as a “runaway” – considered less serious – to a “crime victim”.
Our goal is to dispatch private investigative teams across the county to help find missing children. Our vision is a society where the sexual exploitation of minors is eradicated because the risk to traffickers and buyers of being caught and held accountable is too high.
To bring us one step closer to achieving our vision, I am delighted to announce that Isabelle Finney has agreed to join us as our first CEO. Isabelle brings a wonderful combination of skills and executive experience in non-profit work, business and finance. She has dedicated the last decade of her life to combatting trafficking, and providing smart solutions for families living in abject poverty. Isabelle is committed to protecting children and ensuring justice is served. She can be reached at isabelle@wesavegirls.org.
Thank you for being on this journey with us, and thank you for helping us keep kids safe.
Gratefully,
Katie
