| Finding Kids is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that exists to provide investigative and aftercare support to parents of missing and exploited children.
For law enforcement and community members: we are here to help. Our private investigative team, mostly consisting of retired detectives and police officers, are dedicated to helping you find missing children across northern and central California, and northern Nevada. Please consider us a resource and direct parents to our intake form at findingkids.org when additional help is needed.
For parents and caregivers: our family support and aftercare team are here to provide care and guidance as you navigate this crisis. You are not alone.
For donors: your generosity enables the important work of protecting vulnerable children, getting them back in school, and providing much-needed support to their families. None of this would happen without your intervention.
We are transitioning our logo and brand to better reflect what we do. While our legal name remains ‘Special Operations – Finding Kids’, we will simply be known as Finding Kids.
Our new logo, with the missing “i” represents both the children we find and those we are still searching for. It brings forward the optimistic vision at the heart of our work. You’ll also see the “i” animating on and off, reflecting the active nature of what we do as we chase down every lead.
While you will notice changes to our appearance in the coming months, including a refreshed website, our mission remains the same:
We Help Recover Missing Kids.
We Provide Care To Support Them On Their Healing Journey.
We Target Predators Who Exploit Them.
