| Last September, a 14 year old boy, “Nathan”, was reported missing after not returning home from school. Nathan had been experiencing anxiety and had been regularly truant from school. Nathan was missing for over two months, with limited social media activity and no confirmed contacts. His family was distraught.
As soon as Finding Kids heard about the case, we mobilized an investigator to pursue new leads, analyze digital activity, and carry out targeted surveillance to identify and eliminate multiple possible locations. This work was supported by widespread flyer distribution, social media intelligence, facial recognition that flagged a possible sighting, and close coordination with law enforcement and community partners
Earlier this month, a critical lead was generated that enabled law enforcement to recover Nathan at an apartment complex and bring him home. He is safe and support is being provided to the family to help them heal and move forward.
