A human trafficking suspect wanted for kidnapping, sexual exploitation of minor was arrested in American Canyon this week.
Ramon Joseph Reyes Medina of American Canyon, 21, was wanted in connection to the kidnapping, abuse/neglect of a child involving sexual exploitation, eluding a peace officer and sex trafficking of a 17-year-old juvenile. He was arrested on Tuesday after police attempted to pull him over on Solano Avenue, resulting in Medina driving to American Canyon, where he attempted to flee on foot.
Reyes Medina had an extraditable warrant out for his arrest involving this case and was also wanted for similar charges in another jurisdiction.
One of the three remaining passengers inside of the vehicle was identified as the 17-year-old minor (reported as a runaway) from Nevada. The minor was safely recovered and released into the custody of Child Protective Services. Upon further investigation, officers also recovered another missing juvenile at a local address without incident and released them into the custody of CPS.Reyes Medina was booked into the Solano County Jail on multiple charges.
